First, it’s a way to see who their listeners are and possibly how they became listeners–that’s what they gain from the partnership with music analytics and data company Next Big Sound. Secondly, the new service will allow artists to go beyond selling just music and offer other items like concert merchandise for sale through the web using Topspin, a company that helps connect artists to their fans. Lastly, via the Songkick partnership, come direct ticket sales. It’s … [Read more...] about Redefining The Digital Music Service Starts Now

There is a social truth universally understood but difficult to admit: We don’t like what we don’t trust, and we don’t trust what we don’t understand. advertisement advertisement Herein lies the most modern of human dilemmas–navigating advanced technologies, specifically the juxtaposition of game-changing developments that improve the human experience versus the unknown outcomes of “thinking” machines and AI. The year 2010 did not begin quietly for voluble writer-director-übergeek Kevin Smith. The only thing that overshadowed the dreadful reviews for his action comedy Cop Out was his much-headlined booting from a flight for being too fat. “A lot of people thought I had a great sense of humor about the Southwest Airlines thing, but it was the worst moment of my life,” the notoriously potty-mouthed Smith confesses. “For three days, there were thousands of news stories in which everyone felt license to write ‘Kevin Smith — comma — the fat director.’ I didn’t want to get out of bed. These are Commando 3 (November 29), Mardaani 2 (December 13) and Dabangg 3 (December 20).What makes these sequels special is the fact that the central protagonists are uniformed officers. While commando Karanveer Singh Dogra (Vidyut Jammwal) from Indian Army's 9 Para returns in Commando 3, Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani Mukerji), an IPS officer, returns in Mardaani 2.
