Absconding politician Shrikant Tyagi was arrested Tuesday from Meerut, officials said, days after he was seen in a social media video abusing and assaulting a woman for objecting to his alleged illegal constructions at a housing society here. Tyagi was at large since Friday evening, and the Noida Police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest. Additional Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police (law and order) Prashant Kumar said in Lucknow Tyagi has been arrested. On the controversy surrounding security given to Tyagi by the Uttar Pradesh police, Kumar said he had no such protection after February 2020. A senior Noida police officer told PTI, "Tyagi's three associates were also held along with him." A woman crashed into a parked car and then proceeded to open fire on the people who were coming to help her, Fox 29 reported Thursday. The incident happened Wednesday night when a San Antonio woman crashed into a parked car, got out of her car and then started shooting at the people who were coming to her aid, Fox 29 reported. Innocent woman killed after high-speed race near Bangkok
The mindless driver of a pickup faces prison after an idiotic road race ended in the death of an innocent bystander. A woman was instantly killed after being hit by an out of control pickup as it embarked on some high jinks with another speeding car on a public road in Pathum Thani province near Bangkok. The 35 year old woman, Thanyaluck Sriphan, was standing outside of her food shop in front of a petrol station, located on Som Sang Road in the Baan Mai District of Pathum Thani when she was hit by the vehicle. Police and emergency service teams found the damaged pickup near the shop. Inside the vehicle, police discovered 36 year old male driver Prasarn Boonsi, and 29 year old female passenger Kunruethai Ninlaphruk. They were both injured and sent to a hospital nearby.
