Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Electric scooters may well provide a better car alternative for more people than electric bicycles — for a few reasons. First, they aren’t nearly as expensive. Secondly, many are foldable and can be easily stored. Third, they’re generally fairly lightweight – allowing people to carry them into their office, appointment or home for storage when not in use. Fourth, they’re more agile to use. In many cases, you can ride them right up to the front door of wherever you’re going and won’t need to lock them up. Fifth, the wheels will never go flat. And sixth, e-scooters may be safer, as you can probably use them on the sidewalk in your area – away from the bike and car lanes. Not sure about everyone else, but I often feel like a sitting – or is it rolling? - duck, when I’m riding my e-bike in the bike lane of a busy street. To close that gap – and to help fulfill President Biden’s call – many organizations are turning to digital mental health solutions. As of 2020, the digital mental health market was already robust at around $142 billion in sales. Within five years it’s … [Read more...] about The Right Path To Incorporating Digital Mental Health Services

An Ola electric scooter. A tussle between Ola Electric and a customer who had an accident while riding the company’s electric scooter has escalated into allegations of breach of privacy and integrity of data. The customer has sent a takedown notice to Ola Electric for allegedly violating privacy laws by publishing the scooter’s telemetry data on social media. The notice is in addition to claims by the customer about the vehicle’s allegedly faulty brakes and has drawn more flak for Ola, which is grappling with the issue of a vehicle catching fire and has recalled over 1,400 electric scooters to conduct 'diagnostic and health check'. He alleged that when he applied the brakes, the scooter’s speed increased and he lost … [Read more...] about Ola Electric gets takedown notice from customer after making telemetry data public
