TV5 President and Chief Executive Officer Vincent “Chot” Reyes defined such sports as those “with a highly engaged audience base that don’t typically receive visibility of this scale,” referring to e-sports, college sports and extreme sports, like skateboarding and freestyle BMX. “We wanted to give the channel a very definite proposition, which means a younger audience, feel, target and treatment, ” Reyes said during a press conference at People’s Palace in Makati City on Thursday.
