While giving a boost to the new income-tax regime, the government has set no time frame to phase out the older tax regime that offers popular exemptions and deductions under various sections, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in an exclusive interview with Network18 Group Editor Rahul Joshi . Jinjuta Thongtan, a student at Satree School Phuket, was selected to represent Thailand at the World Junior Golf Series to be held at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, which opens today and runs through December 24. The 16-year-old has been playing golf for six years and is confident of her chance to do well in the competition.
