But at the same time he has put family first by being a caregiver for his ailing parents. The challenges he faces on both stages is detailed in the documentary “Care to Laugh,” which screens at the Hermosa Beach Community Center Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. Trejo grew up in Long Beach but now makes Torrance his home.
