That’s because fake Amazon reviews are big business . advertisement advertisement It’s also a big headache for consumers. Every time we buy a dud of a faux-five-star product, we grow more leery of buying products from Amazon in the future-even those that actually deserve high ratings. The company makes returning stuff reasonably easy, but if something conks out 31 days after you buy it, you’re often stuck dealing directly with an untrustworthy seller. The Man Who Named The Dinosaurs Also Debunked Tales Of Sea Serpents
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin The British paleontologist Richard Owen is probably best known today for creating the word "dinosaurs" in 1841. But he was interested in more than just dinosaurs. He was also fascinated by the anatomy of many strange animals, such as marsupials, the giant Moa-birds from New Zealand and even sea monsters. Owen’s early years of education weren’t very promising. He completed a basic education, in which he was described as "lazy and rebellious." After only half a year at Edinburgh University, he left studies to practice as surgeon in various hospitals. He worked for a brief period as a doctor, but as skilled anatomist he soon was asked to reorganize the zoological collection of various museums. In his new role as a curator and organizer of exhibitions, he became very popular with the general public and a frequently requested expert on strange animals. He showed also an active personal interest in those topics. Between 1830 and … [Read more...] about The Man Who Named The Dinosaurs Also Debunked Tales Of Sea Serpents
It’s Now Acceptable To Enjoy A Blueberry Martini For Breakfast
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin We all have those mornings where things just start out rather haywire and we really wish we could take a martini break. Or a break altogether, followed by a martini. Of course, work (and societal judgements) would normally not allow that. However, a delicious loophole now exists and I’m very much in support of making this new lifestyle choice. Brooklyn-based New York Distilling Company recently teamed up with Fan-Fan Doughnuts to create a limited-edition Blueberry Martini Doughnut. Parker was known for being a poet and satirist, but also a great lover of a good martini. Appropriately, the Blueberry Martini Doughnut is crafted with both Dorothy Parker American Gin and Dorothy Parker Rose-Petal Infused Gin. But, of course, it is a blueberry … [Read more...] about It’s Now Acceptable To Enjoy A Blueberry Martini For Breakfast
