The Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has recommended that no 'prominent public figures, including celebrities and sportsmen,' should endorse crypto products. The market regulator proposed that companies advertising cryptos and digital assets should also put up disclosures listing out possible law violations. Last month, SEBI clarified its position on the subject with India’s Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance when members put forth questions on various aspects of crypto. As a result, the market regulator submitted a detailed written response to the Parliamentary Panel. The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) had published crypto advertising guidelines in February and the Finance Ministry had urged the SEBI to share its stance on such ads. Taiwanese celebrity couple Mickey Huang and Summer Meng are now the proud parents of a baby girl. On Thursday night (May 19), Meng posted on social media a photo of her looking at her daughter, whom they have nicknamed "Yellow Corn". The 30-year-old actress wrote in Chinese: "I have experienced a process which those who have not given birth will not understand. I chose water birth so that every moment could be natural." Meng, who is known for acting in idol dramas such as Aim High (2014) and Love, Timeless (2017), said that she did not take measures such as administering an epidural or going through labour induction. Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin - A + A PUTRAJAYA (May 24): The Home Ministry (KDN) will hold discussions with the Philippines, Indonesia and Bangladesh on the proposal to recruit workers from these new source countries for the security sector. Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin said a decision at the policy level had been agreed upon to bring in foreign labour from other countries, apart from Nepal. "However, to bring in these workers, they will have to meet the criteria (set), that is, the foreign workers need to have the work experience in the security sector in their own countries,” he told reporters after attending a Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Hari Raya celebration here on Tuesday (May 24).
