A WOMAN has revealed how her boyfriend dumped her to live the single life – but she matched with him on Tinder 18 months later, on the other side of the world.
Cristina Sarrou was baffled when she saw fellow Brit Harrison Kingshott pop up on the dating app in Sydney, Australia, as she had no idea he was living just two streets away.
The couple got back together and are now expecting their first child after the shock reunion – and are moving back to the UK.
Tina, 32, from Seaford, East Sussex, first met Harrison, 28, seven years ago at a boxing club and they hit it off immediately.
She said: “He was just really funny. Even if he annoyed me he would turn it around and he was always nice, kind and thoughtful.”
But salon owner Tina soon got sick of plumber Harrison’s carefree attitude and the pair split.
Harrison admits it was his fault. “I was a sesh gremlin,” he said. “I used to go out all the time. I was one of those boyfriends who would go out on the beer too much.
“I moved to Australia to get away from Tina. I was sick of us being at one another’s throats all the time.
“That was the furthest geographical place away from her. I would still be there now if we hadn’t reunited.”

Tina had always wanted to move to Australia and so decided to pack up and go the following year – having forgotten all about Harrison.
But she was only there two weeks when she matched with him on Tinder, but he was dating someone else at the time.
“What are you doing here?” she messaged him – and the pair met up that night.
She said: “He took me to Sydney Harbour and we just hit it off straight away. It was really nice seeing him again and he always makes me laugh so much.
“We ended up getting a hotel and at the time he said he was seeing another girl but it wasn’t serious.”
Tina, who says Harrison is constantly compared to actor James Corden, 41, admitted their relationship in the UK wasn’t healthy: “I was running a business and it was really stressful but he was still living the typical lad lifestyle.
“We would constantly have rows and it just got to the stage where enough was enough. We were rowing like Smithy and Nessa.”
Just a day after reconnecting Down Under, they were back together after Harrison’s then-girlfriend kicked him out for spending the night with Tina.
The couple moved back to Sussex last year and they are now expecting their first baby next month.
Tina agreed to marry Harrison last year when he proposed to her in Turkey – which is where they went on their first holiday – and they’re gearing up for their first child’s arrival.
I didn’t think he looked like James but other people did. I recognised the Gavin and Stacey reference once he put on a bit more weight
Harrison joked: “If it is a boy we are calling him Neil after Smithy’s baby.
“Thankfully she agreed to marry me. Who knows if Smithy will agree to marry Nessa but I’m excited to spend the rest of my life with Tina.”
The couple say Harrison is constantly getting stopped for selfies by Gavin & Stacey fans. He’s even taken on Smithy’s job as a plumber.
Tina said: “He is always being asked for selfies and it has gotten out of hand since Carpool Karaoke took off. We can’t go anywhere without people coming up and asking to take a photo with him.
“Harrison will come into my salon and my clients will go ‘do you know who he looks like?’ and I say yes we get it all the time.
“Harrison is better looking than James Corden and is funnier because he doesn’t even have to act.
“They also dress the same with smart T-shirts and trousers.”
Harrison even shares the same birthday as the TV presenter and actor – August 22 – although they have a 13-year age gap.
Harrison said: “I am the real life Smithy. We sound the same too.
“People have asked me to phone their mums so they can see me. I say I will if you buy me a Bacardi – it means I get constant free drinks.
