A man has died from stab wounds and two others have been injured after a violent incident in south London. Police were called to the scene in Camberwell on Wednesday evening where they found all three men with injuries. The man who died was declared dead at the scene and the other two victims were taken to hospital. The Met Police said they were awaiting information on the condition of the surviving pair. The London Air Ambulance attended and assisted with the treatment of those hurt. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody. The dead man’s next of kin are being informed. A police cordon remains in place around the spot where the incident occurred. It is the second fatality on Warham Street, Camberwell, in three months following an attack. Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton, 17, was found with a fatal gunshot wound at the location in May this year. Gunfire had previously been heard nearby in Cooks Road, Kennington. It prompted Rhyhiem’s mother Pretana Morgan to call for a halt in the wave of violence in the capital, where more than 80 people are suspected to have been deliberately killed since the start of 2018.
