Archant A man and three children were rescued by firefighters after they became stuck in the mud on Weston-super-Mare beach. Crews from Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called to the tideline on Weston beach at 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday). Two crews from Weston and the service hovercraft attended the incident. The hovercraft was used to take everyone to safety.
