The Speaker of the House, Republican Paul Ryan, made an announcement today that will end speculation that he will make entrance into the Republican presidential race. Count me out.”However, it should be noted that Ryan also said he wouldn’t accept the speakership, and then went on to take the position last fall. Still, Ryan went as far as suggesting that convention delegates should change the rule so that only the GOP Nomination only goes to someone who has actually been in the running to be the party’s nominee.When asked by CNN if he thinks only one of the final three Republican nominees, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich, should be the nominee, Ryan didn’t respond.
